Senator Barack Obama received a $101,332 bonus from American International Group in the form of political contributions according to Opensecrets.org. The two biggest Congressional recipients of bonuses from the A.I.G. are – Senators Chris Dodd and Senator Barack Obama.
The A.I.G. Financial Products affiliate of A.I.G. gave out $136,928, the most of any AIG affiliate, in the 2008 cycle. I would note that A.I.G.’s financial products division is the unit that wrote trillions of dollars’ worth of credit-default swaps and “misjudged” the risk.
So Obama is just as currupt as any other politician. — That, ladies and gentlemen, is change we can believe in.

In this broadcast, Senator Bingaman says that he supports the “fairness doctrine.” — What this really means is that he wants to take Rush Limbaugh and other Conservatives off the air or force liberal talk on us besides conservative talk radio and give it equal time.
This is unconstitutional and if the “Fairness Doctrine” passes then radio networks and TV stations should defy it and not allow government to violate our first amendment.
Binganam mentioned that under the fairness doctrine many stations did well. But what he doesn’t seem to understand is that that likely would no longer be the case.
— Remember Air America? Anyone? Remember that is was supposed to be an alternative to Rush Limbaugh and compete with him. — Conservatives predicted it would fail, and they were right. You know why? Because in talk radio, Conservatives are the ones with all the ratings.
The lesson of Air America is obvious. People just didn’t want to listen to it and it failed. –So if Congress and the Fascist left impose the fairness doctrine, and impose Liberal talk on us, not only will it be a Constitutional violation but it will also cause many people to turn off their radios, thus hurting the talk radio industry. It will only do more harm than good.

Obama isn’t even president but apparently our first amendment rights of freedom of expression are already being violated. —
Keven Miller, an anti-Obama talk show host on KDKA-AM 1020 as been silenced for his anti-Obama bias and the network offered a 3 hour slot to a left-winger. — Also, the executive producer, P.J. Kumanchik, read a statement which said Miller was unfairly biased against Obama saying,
We want to apologize to listeners who have found your show offensive.
You want to know what I find offensive? This networks fascist attitude towards freedom of expression. — The truth is, talk show hosts fundamentally do not have to be “fair.” If they did we wouldn’t have Rush Limbaugh and Michael Savage. But if Obama wins then we won’t even have those two.
The true offense is the violation of this man’s fundamental constitutional rights! Now we cannot have a bias against who we see unfit for the presidency? This is left-wing fascism at work, folks! — Don’t think they won’t come after us in the blog-o-sphere to.
Take my word for it! This is a preview of the fascist “Fairness doctrine” that the left wing fascists will impose on us if they win the election in November.

I just finished watching this. It’s pretty strong stuff,
Three Israeli security figures said Monday they were duped into taking part in an ad supporting Barack Obama made by the same group that was behind comedian Sarah Silverman’s “Great Schlep.”
Uzi Dayan, a retired army general, and Efraim Halevy, a former Mossad chief, were among eight high-ranking retired members of Israel’s security establishment in a pro-Obama film. Former Mossad agent Yossi Alpher also said he was misled.
The three said they were unaware they were being interviewed for a political campaign and thought they were commenting on the regional strategic affairs that will face the next U.S. president. All insisted they have not endorsed either Obama nor his Republican rival, John McCain.
“This is pure and simple deceit,” said Dayan. “I never expressed support for Obama, his approach or his opinions. I’ve also never expressed support for McCain.”
The eight-minute video, aimed at American Jews, was produced by the Jewish Council for Education and Research. The nonprofit group supports the Democratic presidential candidate, but says it is not connected to Obama’s presidential campaign.
The group is also behind “The Great Schlep” _ a Web site featuring Silverman encouraging young Jews to go to Florida to persuade their grandparents to vote for Obama.
Mik Moore, a co-founder of the political action committee, said the video quoting the Israelis was aimed at “setting the record straight” about Obama’s approach to Israel.
Moore said participants were informed the film makers supported Obama, and the video didn’t claim everyone in it endorsed him. He promised, however, to “address their concerns.”
The video, which includes clips from Obama’s visit to Israel, concludes with a black screen reading: “The people who have kept Israel alive offer you their choice.”

Following disclosures by Newsmax of questionable donations to Barack Obama’s presidential campaign, CBS News has uncovered two donors who have given a total of $7,722 using fake names.
Fake, that is, unless you believe that Dahsudhu Hdusahfd of Df, Hawaii, and Uadhshgu Hduadh of Dhff, Fla., are legitimate monikers.
Hdusahfd listed his or her employer as CZXVC/ZXVZXV and Hduadh listed DASADA/SAFASE.
Newsweek reported over the weekend that two other Obama donors gave their names as “Doodad Pro” and “Good Will.”
Contributions from Hdusahfd and Hduadh were made beginning July 16 of this year, and Federal Election Commission (FEC) records show the Obama campaign began refunding the donations beginning on Aug. 6.
But “despite numerous refunds from the Obama campaign, Hdusahfd still has a record of giving a total of $7,500 to Obama which is well over the legal limit for the primary and general election of $4,600,” CBS reported.
“Hduadh gave $14,000 but the Obama campaign returned all but $222.”
Obama spokesperson Bill Burton told CBS News in an e-mail: “We constantly review our donors for any issues and while no organization is completely protected from Internet fraud, we will continue to review our fundraising procedures to ensure that we are taking every available step to root out improper contributions.”
The Republican National Committee filed a complaint on Monday charging that the Obama campaign has received illegal contributions from foreigners and donations that exceed federal limits.
The complaint cites a Newsmax article asserting that a database of FEC records “shows questionable overseas donations that contain more than 11,500 contributions totaling more than $33.8 million.”
The New York Times reported on Monday that the questionable donations issue “is being seized upon by the Republicans against the Obama campaign after an article this month on the conservative Web site Newsmax.com highlighted some obviously questionable contributions Mr. Obama had received that far exceeded the $4,600 an individual can contribute.”
Lou Dobbs, along with Glenn Beck, are probably the only two CNN hosts who are not completely in the tank for Barack Obama. So it is interesting to see this report by Dobbs about early voting in Ohio which allows people to register to vote and cast an absentee ballot at the same time. This opens up a great opportunity for election fraud as this report demonstrates. A check on Google News shows absolutely no MSM coverage, other than this story by Dobbs, on the topic of potential vote fraud in Ohio due to the relaxed rules instituted by the highly partisan Democrat Ohio Secretary of State, Jennifer Brunner, who changed the voting rules by directive (emphasis mine):
LOU DOBBS: A presidential election now 35 days away. Election fraud still posing a dangerous threat to this democracy. Perhaps even worsening. Early voting began today in Ohio. After the State Supreme Court there ruled that absentee voters could register and cast their ballots on the same day. As Kitty Pilgrim now reports, that new law could lead to massive election fraud in that critical swing state.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You’re here to vote, let’s go vote. They opened up early.
KITTY PILGRIM, CNN CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): In Ohio today, new rules allow one-stop voting. From now until October 6th, new voters can register to vote and cast an absentee ballot at the same time. But how can all those new registrations be checked before the votes are counted?
KEVIN DEWINE, DEP. CHAIR. OHIO REP. PARTY: There’s a great opportunity for people who otherwise shouldn’t be allowed to vote to be able to cast a ballot and we think that with the crush of other election activities that are going on in Ohio, that the Board of Elections workers, we think they’re going to be hard pressed to get through and take care of all of the verification.
PILGRIM: No photo ID is required. New Ohio voters have only to write down the last four digits of their Social Security number or write down their driver’s license number. They can also register with the utility bill, cell phone bill, bank statement or paycheck, even college ID if those documents include name and address. Ohio Secretary of State, Democrat Jennifer Brunner, changed the rules on absentee voting by directive.
LARRY WOLPERT (R), OHIO ST. REPRESENTATIVE: There wasn’t anything voted on. The General Assembly did not vote on this. The people’s representatives did not vote on this. She issued a directive and said this is the way it’s going to be. That’s the reason why we had to sue in court.
PILGRIM: The Republicans lost their suit against the rule in the Ohio Supreme Court. They charge the Democratic secretary of state changed the rules to usher in scores of new voters for presidential candidate Barack Obama. She denies the charge. The secretary of state’s office estimates that a quarter of all votes cast in this election, more than a million and a half, will be absentee ballots.
PILGRIM: Now Secretary of State Brunner’s office today said there are safeguards for checking the registration of new voters. They’re satisfied with the proof of identity requirements, but critics say election boards are unprepared to register and check this quantity of new voters just before an important election, Lou.
DOBBS: Has everybody lost their minds? There’s no way for these volunteers to check that. I mean it’s an absurdity.
PILGRIM: Yeah, the officials we spoke to today say the county boards are just overwhelmed with the volume that they have to do at this point. It’s such a big election.
DOBBS: Well, it is a big election, important election, but apparently no one cares about that. Kitty, thank you very much. Kitty Pilgrim.
So you can register for same day voting in Ohio with nothing more than a college ID. And other than Lou Dobbs, where is the rest of the MSM on reporting about this abuse of the election system?
