From Rasmussen Reports,
Support for the Democratic Congressional candidates fell to a new low over the past week, allowing the GOP to move slightly head for the first time in recent years in the Generic Congressional Ballot.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that 41% said they would vote for their district’s Republican candidate while 39% would choose the Democrat.
Investors now favor Republicans by a 46% to 36% margin, while non-investors would vote Democratic by a 45% to 33% margin.
Democrats began the year holding a six or seven point lead over the GOP for the first several weeks of 2009. Over the past month, the gap has been smaller, with Democrats holding a two-to-four point lead. It remains to be seen whether the current results reflect lasting change or statistical noise.
Could this be the beginning of the Republican come-back? — Perhaps. Now, I’ll be surprised if the liberal media reports on this.
Senator Barack Obama received a $101,332 bonus from American International Group in the form of political contributions according to Opensecrets.org. The two biggest Congressional recipients of bonuses from the A.I.G. are – Senators Chris Dodd and Senator Barack Obama.
The A.I.G. Financial Products affiliate of A.I.G. gave out $136,928, the most of any AIG affiliate, in the 2008 cycle. I would note that A.I.G.’s financial products division is the unit that wrote trillions of dollars’ worth of credit-default swaps and “misjudged” the risk.
So Obama is just as currupt as any other politician. — That, ladies and gentlemen, is change we can believe in.

From the New York Post,
A report has cleared Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin of ethics violations in the firing of her public safety commissioner.
Released Monday, the report says there is no probable cause to believe Palin or any other state official violated the Alaska Executive Ethics Act in connection with the firing. The report was prepared by Timothy Petumenos, an independent counsel for the Alaska Personnel Board.
Great. Now Sarah Palin has been cleared in the Troopergate scandal. Now we can go back to calling her a reformer.
I doubt this story will get much circulation in the media because they are so biased against her.

Obama keeps on lowering the standard of rich on whom to raise taxes on. — Before he said that “rich” was defined as those earning $250,000 a year. In his infomercial, he lowered it again to those earning $200,000. — Joe Biden lowered it to $150,000 a year. — And now finally, Obama has lowered it yet again to those earning as little as $50,000 to $70,000 a year.
This shows that Obama is just itching to raise taxes on everyone. — Not just on the rich.
