New Obama Ad mocks McCain’s inability to use a computer

The new Obama Ad makes fun of John McCain’s inability to use a computer. — The ad attempts to use this to say McCain is out of touch,

1982. John McCain goes to Washington. Things have changed in the last 26 years. But McCain hasn’t. He admits he still doesn’t know how to use a computer, can’t send an e-mail, still doesn’t understand the economy and favors $200 billion in new tax cuts for corporations, but almost nothing for the middle class. After one president who was out of touch, we just can’t afford more of the same.

My name is Barack Obama, and I approve this message.

Using his inability for political reasons is a verry cheap shot once considering why McCain cannot use a computer. A while ago, The Boston Globe reported,

McCain’s severe war injuries prevent him from combing his hair, typing on a keyboard, or tying his shoes. (Emphasis mine)

In other words, Obama is really taking the low road by mocking McCain’s old war and torture injuries that still disable him to do many things most of us take for granted. —  This is a majorly cheap shot, and Obama has sunk to a whole new low. — John McCain went to war and has been scared for life, and that is nothing to poke fun at!!

This is one hell of a disgusting ad.

Computers are a great tool for people with disabilities. Millions of people with mobility problems similar and far worse than Sen. McCain’s use e-mail and the internet- my husband, a quadriplegics, for one. It is not necessary to use a keyboard to work a computer. Voice recognition software is a wonderful thing. It does a great disservice to people with disabilities to assume that because a person has a disability they should not be expected to be able to keep up with modern technology. I was under the impression Mrs. McCain traveled extensively independent of her husband, so how is it he checks his e-mail when she is not available?
